A beautiful Grade II listed building located on Argyll Street, the London Palladium is arguably the most famous theatre in London. Having first opened on Boxing Day 1910 with the first ‘grand variety bill’, the theatre was already known as the ‘Ace Variety Theatre of the World’ by the 1950s. For many years, it played host to the annual Royal Variety Performance and was home to London’s most spectacular pantomimes. The first pantomime held in the 2,286 seats theatre was Cinderella in 1926, which is now celebrating its 90th anniversary.
